Conditions Treated
What Conditions Do We Treat?
As an experienced and reliable chiropractor in Calgary for the past 20 years, we have used chiropractic care to help patients treat a wide variety of health conditions, including:
Lower back pain: Chiropractic therapy is a non-surgical treatment option for low back discomfort. A large body of medical data supports this therapy for low back pain.
Neck and shoulder pain: Chiropractic care can be incredibly useful in relieving persistent neck and shoulder discomfort. To get to the bottom of the pain, we take a comprehensive approach to the musculoskeletal and neurological systems.
Headaches and migraines: Chiropractic care can help reduce headaches, including migraine and referred neck pain, or neck discomfort that emerges as a headache.
Whiplash: Whiplash injuries are most usually associated with vehicle accidents, although they can occur whenever your neck and spine are forced to move violently beyond its normal range of motion.
Scoliosis: Scoliosis is a lateral curve of the spine that is abnormal. Chiropractic adjustments may assist in mitigating functional scoliosis and prevent the need for surgery.
Carpal tunnel syndrome: Chiropractic, Massage and/or Acupuncture care for carpal tunnel syndrome can hasten recovery and enhance healing. These treatment modalities can relieve strain on the cervical spine's median nerve.
Fibromyalgia: Chiropractic therapy is an effective treatment for the symptoms of fibromyalgia, and patients who stick with it may see a reduction in pain, more mobility, and improved sleep.
Sprains and strains: Back sprains and strains may be relieved with chiropractic adjustment and adjunctive therapies. Sprains are caused by ligament injury that connects to bone. Strains are caused by muscle or tendon injury.
Herniated discs: When a disc herniates, the jelly-like insides of the disc pour out into the areas of the spine. Chiropractic treatment may assist in reducing discomfort caused by herniated discs.
TMJ disorders: TMJ disorder is most commonly caused by jaw trauma, motor vehicle accidents or overuse. Physical and emotional stress, as well as degenerative illness, are among the other conditions.
